Part time licensed psychologist general CBT (non-psychosis)
Part-time position available for a licensed psychologist experienced in CBT and other third wave therapies for mood and anxiety disorders, and committed to insurance-based healthcare.
Office space, EMR, practice email and confidential voicemail provided, as well as administrative support. Prior credentialing with Medicare, BCBS, Cigna is a plus. Employment is on a fee for service basis.
The part-time psychologist would be expected to work 1 days/2 evenings a week in our new mid-town Manhattan location with the opportunity to expand based on growing referrals. Potential start date of September 2018 (or sooner, depending on credentialing with insurance companies).
Ph.D., Ed.D., or Psy.D. in Counseling or Clinical Psychology from an APA-accredited program
Completion of an APA-accredited internship or an internship that meets APA guidelines and is APPIC-registered
Licensed to practice psychology in the State of New York
Demonstrated professional experience in cognitive-behavioral therapy, evidence-based psychotherapy and/or mindfulness-based interventions (e.g., ACT, DBT, MBSR, etc.)
Seeking qualified candidates for a part-time intake coordinator position starting July 9th 2018. Commitment of approximately 10 hours per week on a fee-for-service basis.
As clinical intake coordinator, your responsibilities would include answering and/or returning the calls of prospective clients, phone screening, providing practice information, collecting insurance information, patient scheduling, as well as addressing specific and varied client and clinician administrative needs.
This is a remote working position, and the candidate will be required to utilize their own cellphone and computer for work. Candidate must be familiar with and understand the rules and regulations regarding HIPAA under the USA Federal Law.
The ideal candidate will be an undergraduate or recently graduated student who is exceptionally well organized, responsible, enjoys working as part of team, and is interested in learning about evidence-based psychotherapy for psychosis. As this is the first point of contact with the practice a high level of professionalism is required. Preference will be given to candidates who can offer a two-year commitment to the position.
Qualified candidates must have the following requirements:
Proficient with G-Suite by Google Cloud, specifically Google Docs and Sheets, Professional Dropbox
Demonstrate the ability to learn new tech systems quickly (such as our Electronic Medical Record).
Prior experience working with people who experience psychosis is a must
Specifically familiarity speaking with people who experience psychosis and their families in a sensitive, non-pathologizing manner is of the utmost importance.
