We are always looking for licensed psychologist experienced in CBTp to join our practice as employees on a part time basis.
Office space, EMR, practice email, confidential voicemail and administrative support with billing and scheduling new referrals provided, as well as weekly case consultation from Dr. Riggs for clinical cases.
Typically psychologists work one half-day or evening a week in our mid-town Manhattan or Brooklyn locations (although there may also be an opportunity to work in Queens later in 2020).
Ph.D., Ed.D., or Psy.D. in Counseling or Clinical Psychology from an APA-accredited program
Completion of an APA-accredited internship or an internship that meets APA guidelines and is APPIC-registered
Licensed to practice psychology in the State of New York
Prior training and experience in CBT for psychosis

Part time position available for a licensed psychologist experienced and competent in CBT and other third wave therapies, working with LGBTQ+ students and cultural diversity.
Interested to transition into private practice but looking to have the support of a Group Practice behind you until you cut your teeth? We frequently receive referrals for folks looking for CBT that are not experiencing psychosis and already have one licensed psychologist on staff to work with these referrals. We are looking to add an additional psychologist due to capacity.

The part-time psychologist would be expected to work 1 weekend day a week in our Manhattan location (17 West 45th street), with the opportunity to expand based on growing referrals. Looking for a start date by June 2020 if not before.
Minimum Qualifications (1) Ph.D., Ed.D., or Psy.D. in Counseling or Clinical Psychology from an APA-accredited program (2) Completion of an APA-accredited internship or an internship that meets APA guidelines and is APPIC-registered (3) Licensed to practice psychology in the State of New York (4) Demonstrated professional experience in cognitive-behavioral therapy, evidence-based psychotherapy and/or mindfulness-based interventions (e.g., ACT, DBT, MBSR, etc.) (5) Professional qualities, including a strong work ethic, comfort working independently, a congenial and collaborative working style, professionalism, and a readiness to address multicultural issues
